Great book

Wished
by Jen Calonita

book cover

Wished is a great book along with the rest of the fairy tale reform school books. But compared to the others this one has the least action. But has the most complex friend dynamics. Wished also has a genie and that is new so adds an extra bit of excitement.

Nice taut story line, but without more insight into the history and culture, it reads like any other suspense novel. Characters are not as well developed as I would have liked to see.

Pigsticks And Harold

I am six years old and I liked this book because it was funny when the angry mouse said ''Assistant!? I thought this was the line for the bathroom!" Harold did not know all the crazy things they would see but he went on the trip because Pigsticks offered him two cakes. Mom thought it was hilarious Harold gave Pigsticks an anchor for him to carry.

Golden Girl

This book was suspenseful, and there were so many different storylines and perspectives, but still manageable. The characters were well developed and 3-dimensional, and I enjoyed reading this book very much!

Dead Voices

Dead Voices by Katherine Arden is definitely an absolute favorite of mine after reading it. Dead Voices is the sequel to Small Spaces where Ollie, Brian, and Coco go to Hemlock Lodge for a ski trip which turns into a ghost hunt with no one in the lodge but them and Mr. Voland as guests there. This book is full of twists and turns and is absolutely amazing. If you want my opinion, I highly reccommend this book.
